The screws are designed to fit all devices that use a standard side screw locking input, such as StarTech.com's DK31C3HPD. The knurled screws can easily be removed from the cable completely allowing it to be used as a standard USB-C cable if required.

    With up to 100W (5A) of power delivery, you can power and charge a USB-C laptop, such as your Apple MacBook or Microsoft Surface Book. Simply connect the cable to your USB-C laptop and to a USB-C wall charger.
  • Deliver 8K video with DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode
    The cable supports 8K 30Hz video with DisplayPort 1.4 and is backward compatible to connect your docking station or laptop to a monitor that supports 4K or 1080p resolutions.
