Description
Add serial communication support to a desktop computer or small form factor (SFF) system, using this 4-port serial PCI Express card. The four DB9 ports can be independently configured to support RS-232, RS-422, and 2/4-wire RS-485 standards, for communication with compliant serial peripheral devices.
  • Per-port serial configuration
    This PCIe serial card is equipped with onboard DIP switches, enabling each DB9 serial port to operate in RS-232, RS-422, and/or RS-485 mode(s). The card features LED indicators per port, providing real-time monitoring of port activity.
  • Configurable external SATA power
    The PCI Express serial adapter card features three power modes that are configurable via onboard jumpers, including 12 V (1.5 A per port), 5 V (1.5 A per port), or no power (RI), over pin 9.
  • Legacy connectivity
    This serial card enables the continued use of legacy serial devices, preventing downtime and avoiding costly upgrades. The 4-port PCIe serial card is an ideal system upgrade for a wide range of applications (e.g., point-of-sale terminals, PLCs, factory control and automation, scientific sensors, medical equipment, scanners, and oscilloscopes).
