The bend-insensitive fiber and molded strain reliefs support cable runs requiring micro/macro bends while maintaining low attenuation. The OS2 patch cable is ideal for 1260-1625nm laser-optimized sources. Backward compatible with 9/125 fiber equipment, ensuring a reliable connection with legacy LANs. Housed in a Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) flame retardant jacket, this SM Simplex fiber optic cable ensures minimal smoke, toxicity, and corrosion when exposed to extreme sources of heat or in the event of a fire. Capable of operating in a wide range of environments, including industrial settings, central offices, and schools, as well as residential settings where building codes are a consideration. Each OS2 fiber cable is also individually tested for for insertion loss and attenuation that meets or exceeds the ITU-T G652.D/G657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 industry standards, for guaranteed compatibility and 100% reliability.
