The Lindy 150 m Cat.6 TosLink (Optical) and Coaxial Digital Audio Extender is a high-quality solution for extending digital audio signals over long distances, using standard network cable. With TosLink (Optical) and coaxial inputs and outputs, this extender can be easily used with a variety of AV source devices including TVs and amplifiers, with speakers or soundbars located at the receiver side. Connected audio can be output simultaneously to provide splitting functionality from a single input, great for smaller audio broadcasting setups in underground railway stations, bus depots or medical facilities. This also allows simple conversion of TosLink and Coaxial signals into their opposing output.
Supporting both stereo and multi-channel audio extension, this extender will allow for impressive three-dimensional surround sound performance to compliment films and games when connected to the audio source device, as well as crystal clear speech from user generated audio. This provides the user with an excellent point to point solution, ideal for use in immersive residential cinema rooms or creating a more attractive and enticing retail experience.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality, the supply of power and data signals over Cat.6 cable on a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver also brings additional flexibility as only one power supply is required at the transmitter unit, ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
