Description

The DI551ST2 is a 55" premium professional LCD for indoor applications. The display features a FHD 55-inch IPS LCD with a high brightness LED backlight producing a 1000 nit image. The DI551ST2 is IP5X rated for protection from dust and debris and features a fanless thermal management system for virtually silent operation. With an ultra-slim 29 mm form factor, the display is ideal for ADA-compliant applications. Each screen is individually color calibrated to ensure excellent color quality and uniformity. The DI551ST2 features an integrated Android based media player with Wi-Fi offering users a complete media platform, allowing playback of local files and USB/SD card media.
  • LED backlit with local dimming
    LED back lighting is both more energy efficient and provides a much brighter image than traditional CCFL backlights. Due to the compact nature of LEDs, displays are also typically thinner. DynaScan's DS² line of LCDs utilize a proprietary system of LED backlighting which is not only more energy efficient than traditional CCFL backlights, it is also considerably brighter. DynaScan has applied its LED expertise to create a collection of ultra-high brightness LCDs which can easily be viewed in direct sunlight such as storefront windows or outdoor enclosures. The display features a local dimming LED back light technique for a remarkably high contrast picture. With direct local dimming, darker areas of an image receive less backlighting than lighter areas, as opposed to CCFL and edge-lit LED backlights which illuminate an entire screen at all times causing blacks and dark areas to appear washed out.
  • Color temperature and quality
    Ensuring the color and brightness of each screen in a tiled matrix matches can be time consuming and requires additional calibration hardware. Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 (6500K) CIE color standard. Not only does this produce a true, natural white, the color of all screens will be uniform.
  • Blackening defect free
    Most residential and commercial screens will blacken or result in isotropic failure when the LCD panel overheats. The DI551ST2 is equipped with a high temperature LCD panel capable of withstanding temperatures up to 110˚C (230°F) without blackening - crucial for direct sunlight applications.
  • Auto brightness control
    Different external lighting conditions require different brightness levels. An onboard light sensor measures the ambient light in the area and automatically adjusts the image accordingly.
  • Full HD resolution
    With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD, the DI551ST2 provides a super sharp image for easy to read text and incredible detail.
